Welcome to The Bridge School

We foster children's natural love of learning through exploration, activities, community, and connection to nature.  We honor each child’s place in their learning journey and meet them where they are.

What makes The Bridge School Special?

Community

Our school community unites students, families and teachers to learn, work and play together. Sharing ideas and responsibilities helps everyone be heard, and fosters compassion, understanding, friendship and fun!

Creativity

Together we create a supportive and accepting space where students feel safe to explore, take risks and express themselves. In addition to our focused experiences in theater, music, arts and visual presentation, we bring creativity into every day with an experiential, activity based, approach to learning.

The joy of hands-on creation.

Confidence

We embrace the natural curiosity and love of learning in our students. We allow them to explore, test new ideas and build confidence through authentic hands-on activities, cross-discipline projects, field trips, outdoor education and student inspired investigations. We seek to understand and support each child uniquely, with neurodiversity-aware, identity-affirming compassion.

The Bridge School does not discriminate in any programs, activities, selection of employees or volunteers on the basis of sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, marital status, disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our community.

Non-Discrimination Policy

The Bridge School acknowledges that we are on the traditional land of the Coast Salish people, including the Duwamish People, past and present. We recognize the stewardship of the lands and waters by the Coast Salish people since time immemorial and strive to honor their example. This acknowledgment does not take the place of authentic relationships with indigenous communities, but serves as a first step in educating ourselves about the peoples whose land we reside on today.
